Volunteer Staff

Minnetonka Christian Camp could not exist if it were not for our wonderful group of volunteers. Our summer volunteer staff is made up of mature adults who give of their time and talents to spend all or a large part of our summer with us.

Mission Projects/Trips

Minnetonka is blessed to have a number of groups that come up during to year to spend a few days working on projects around the camp. These groups consist of students through senior adults. All food and lodging is provided for any group that would like to come up and work.

If you or your group would like to volunteer in some way, contact the camp to make arrangements.

Prayer Needs

The staff at Minnetonka would like to invite as many persons as possible to join us in prayer as we prepare for the 2008 summer season. Please pray:

that God will send us the resident staff that we need to have a great summer.
for wisdom, strength, unity, enthusiasm, and fullness of the Spirit for all the staff
that Camps and Churches will bring those who need to know the Lord and will benefit from their time at Minnetonka.
That Christ will be glorified during all of our activities.

Wish List

These are our most pressing needs at this time. Thank you for the generosity of so many that help us meet these needs.

2 Free Standing Refrigerated Water Fountains: These units are need to provide cold water for children/youth during their outside activities at summer camp. We have (or can easily make) the necessary connections to electrical supplies and water connections for the units. One will be placed near the Softball Field and the other near the Concession Stand. In order for installation to take place prior to camp we need them delivered by May 1st.

16 Sets Of Sheets For The Motel Beds: The beds are full size and have a height of 10 inches. We need the sets to be fitted and flat and should be white cotton (please no colors). (NEW)

16 Quilted Mattress Pad's: Full Size, Fitted Type with elastic skirt that goes under the mattress. White (NEW)

11 Fire Extinguishers: 4 lbs. Net Capacity

1000 Feet Outdoor Electrical Wire: 10-2 With Ground For Outdoor Lights In Public Areas.

Baseball Field Bases: Full set of bases including Home Plate and Pitchers Plate

Any animal head mounts or other stuffed animal items for our Dining Hall such as deer, elk, moose, bobcat, mountain lion, bear, etc.
