Hello, we are Tom and Bernice Crites, directors of Minnetonka Christian Camp. We had been asking God to show us a place where we could serve Him and give back just a portion of what He has given to us. God opened the door for us to serve here in 2005. Our hearts are in every aspect of the camp from maintenance to the chapel services. God has given Minnetonka a board of directors who have plans and visions for growth and development in the lives of our campers. We have faithful volunteers who invest time, “sweat equity”, and money to serve here.
We are located in the foothills of the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains of Southeast Oklahoma near the town of Clayton Oklahoma. We are surrounded by trees, lakes and rivers. Peale Creek runs through the camp. It is the perfect location for spiritual renewal or personal enjoyment. You are welcome at Minnetonka Christian Camp. a location for your next family reunion, a retreat, or a youth summer camp, utilizing our motel rooms and dorms, we hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities we have to offer here at Minnetonka. We have activities such as, paintball, sand volleyball, a 100 foot water slide, lighted basketball and volleyball court, a 375 foot zip line, lighted softball field, nature walking trails, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, bird watching and fishing.
Our desire for Minnetonka is that it would be a place set apart to be used and enjoyed by people from every walk of life. A place to escape the stress of a pressure packed world and find that God is ready to offer peace, comfort, love, and eternal life. |
